Favorite and Leasst Favorite Book
My favorite book would have to be The Odyssey. I found this book very interesting because of the many developed characters that we got to know over the book. There were too many to count, and some of them were not introduced very well, but most of them were. I also enjoy reading about mythology, especially Greek. My least favorite book would be The Great Gatsby. I did not dislike this book, it was just my least favorite out of the ones we read. The writing was not always easy to understand and the main plot did not interest me that much.

Gatsby 5
Jay Gatsby ruined whatever chances he might have had with Daisy by forcing her to do what he said. They could have run off together and live their lives somewhere else, but Gatsby needed her to tell Nick that she never loved him. He needed things to be like what they were 5 years ago, but that was impossible to do. He claimed that he did everything for her, he bought this nice house, nice clothes and everything else for her. He wanted to live with her in that house and that was the way it had to be. His high expectations of her caused her to drift apart from him. He was his own downfall.
Gatsby 4
Jay Gatsby the main character and the Protagonist of The Great Gatsby changes a lot over the book. The changes to him are caused by the people around him and the conflicts related between each other. Gatsby who is hopeful at the beginning of the story wishes to repeat something that happened 5 years ago. To do this he must get back together with Daisy, who is his lover, but Daisy married another man. She wants to run away with him and be free, but Gatsby wants her to tell her husband that she doesn't and has never loved him. Doing this he asks too much of her, which ends up ruining their relationship. "I wouldn't' ask too much of her," I ventured. "You can't repeat the past." This is Nick telling Gatsby that he is asking too much of her and that things can't be exactly th same as they were 5 years ago. Gatsby starts to become impatient with Daisy, but still continues to believe that she will leave Tom and things will be exactly the same again. This does not happen and Gatsby actions lead to him being killed.
